Carrie Underwood Stars In NBC-TV’s 'The Sound of Music Live!'

ARISTA NASHVILLE’s CARRIE UNDERWOOD will star as MARIA in NBC-TV’s three-hour television production, “THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE!,” on THURSDAY (12/5) from 8-11p (ET) .

Additionally, SONY MASTERWORKS released the companion soundtrack, “The Sound Of Music,” TODAY (12/3) featuring studio recordings for all of the musical numbers performed by the cast in the live broadcast.

“THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE!” will be released on DVD TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17^th.
