WWCD Celebrates 21st Annual 'Andyman-A-Thon'

The Tradition Continues Beginning December 13th

WWCD, ltd. Alternative WWCD (CD102.5)/COLUMBUS, OH celebrates the 21st annual "ANDYMAN-A-THON" beginning FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13th at 7p and ending SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15th at 7p . Begun in 1992 by former PD/longtime DJ ANDYMAN DAVIS, the ANDYMAN-A-THON has raised more than one million over the past 21 years. 

CD102.5 DJs continue ANDYMAN’s tradition by encouraging listeners to call the studio and request songs to be played in exchange for donations to CD102.5 FOR THE KIDS, a charity designed to support local charities that are committed to helping children and families in need throughout CENTRAL OHIO.

“We’re looking forward to the 21st annual ANDYMAN-A-THON,” said RANDY MALLOY, Owner/President of CD102.5. “This is our way of honoring his memory and we know that ANDYMAN would have wanted this tradition and support from the community to continue.”

CD102.5 will also be hosting an auction on eBay with items closing throughout the ANDYMAN-A-THON. Auction items include autographed guitars from MUMFORD & SONS, THE BLACK KEYS, AND SILVERSUN PICKUPS, and over 500 other items autographed by DEPECHE MODE, MATT & KIM, the COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS, PHOENIX, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and many more.

In order to show appreciation for donations from the community, CD102.5 will be hosting the fourth annual "ANDYMAN-A-THON BENEFIT CONCERT" at THE BLUESTONE on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15th featuring WATERSHED, WASHINGTON BEACH BUMS, THE REGRETTES, THE WHILES, and LOS GRAVEDIGGERS. Tickets for the event are $20 at the door, $10 with a cash donation during the ANDYMAN-A-THON.
