AMERICAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION is selling silent noncommercial WAKP/SMITHBORO, GA to MIDDLE GEORGIA COMMUNITY RADIO for $15,000. The application asks for the FCC to expedite the sale application so that the buyer can put the station back on the air before its present silent STA expires on JANUARY 5th.
In other filings with the FCC, CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. has requested a Silent STA for FM translator K221DV/DELPHI, WA after its tower lease expired.
And RADIO TRAINING NETWORK, INC. has closed on the sale of FM translator W257BG/STATESBORO, GA to STATESBORO RADIO CO. LLC for $25,000.
