Lil Wayne Tops Muve Music Best Of 2013 Lists As Artist Of The Year

MUVE MUSIC, the music service offered to CRICKET WIRELESS subscribers in the U.S., has chosen LIL WAYNE as its Artist of the Year on its Best of 2013 lists. The rapper was named in the overall category, with LORDE selected BEST NEW ARTIST.

In the Pop/Rock category, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE was named Artist of the Year, and ARIANA GRANDE got the Best New Artist nod.

In Hip-Hop, EMINEM was chosen as Artist of the Year, while FRENCH MONTANA earned Best New Artist honors. In the Latin Regional category, GERARDO ORTIZ was named Artist of the Year. NOEL TORRES was selected Best New Artist of 2013.

TAYLOR SWIFT was Country's Artist of the Year, with DANIELLE BRADBERY Best New Artist. 

The selection criteria involved, according to the company's release, "the artists and albums played most by MUVE MUSIC customers, as well as favorites of the MUVE MUSIC staff."
