Spirit Radio/Ellsworth, IL Looks To Expand Coverage

2820 COMMUNICATIONS INC. noncommercial Religion WSPI (SPIRIT RADIO)/ELLSWORTH, IL has added local messaging to its lineup from EWTN CATHOLIC RADIO as well as a new web site.  The station has aired the EWTN network programming since MARCH 9, 2011.  The station is soliciting donations and underwriting to help it increase from 290 watts to 2,700 watts.  

GREAT PLAINS MEDIA Chief Engineer JON HALL, who launched SPIRIT RADIO (which rents office space and contracts a staff from GREAT PLAINS as well), said, "2820 COMMUNICATIONS is excited to share EWTN’s message! With the support of the community, we can grow the station and eventually bring the Catholic Ministry to everyone that’s seeking The Spirit. If this station helps only one person, or one family feel closer to God, then I will be happy.”
