SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM Tropical WXDJ (EL ZOL 95.7 FM)/MIAMI has moved to a new signal at 106.7 FM. The call letters for WXDJ will eventually move to 106.7 to follow the EL ZOL format. The new 106.7 frequency carries a stronger signal of 100,000 watts of power reaching from THE FLORIDA KEYS to the north of WEST PALM BEACH.
In place of EL ZOL 95.7 FM, SBS/MIAMI will continue airing announcements and simulcasting on both frequencies during the month of DECEMBER letting all the listeners know of the new frequency for their favorite station.
"We're excited about expanding our radio presence in MIAMI-FT. LAUDERDALE, our leading format radio station to a stronger signal to reach more audience," commented EVP/Programming and Multiplatform Coordinator JESUS SALAS.
"We are very excited to introduce EL ZOL 106.7 FM to SOUTH FLORIDA," said COO ALBERT RODRIGUEZ. "With this refreshing of the brand and format we will meet the needs of the wide variety of Hispanics in SOUTH FLORIDA."
