KLAA Adds Local Show With Jason Brennan And Jim Leyritz

New Show

LOS ANGELES ANGELS Sports KLAA-A (AM 830)/ORANGE-LOS ANGELES is adding a new local show with the station's JASON BRENNAN and former ANGELS, TEXAS RANGERS, BOSTON RED SOX, SAN DIEGO PADRES, LOS ANGELES DODGERS, and NEW YORK YANKEES catcher JIM LEYRITZ.  "INSIDE THE GAME WITH BRENNAN AND LEYRITZ" debuts JANUARY 6th and will air weekdays 1-3p (PT).

PD BOB AGNEW said that the show "is another integral part of the growth and expansion of AM 830’s sports influence in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. Having JASON paired with JIM, who played for 11 years in the MLB and excelled on the biggest stage in NEW YORK, adds more credibility to our station."

BRENNAN said, “I’m excited for the opportunity to expand my role with ANGELS radio to include covering all of the LOS ANGELES area sports.  Being paired with former World Series hero JIM LEYRITZ will allow KLAA listeners to get a look inside the locker room, clubhouse and dugout with today’s top athletes and coaches.”

LEYRITZ, who has hosted a show on MLB RADIO, added, “After 10 years of radio and TV on the East Coast, I am excited to become part of ANGELS RADIO AM 830.  Moving to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA three years ago, this is the opportunity I’ve been waiting for.  I hope to bring special insights and interviews with important figures from inside and outside the world of sports.”
