Price For KDAY: $15 Million

MAGIC BROADCASTING's previously-announced sale of Urban Oldies KDAY/REDONDO BEACH-LOS ANGELES and KDEY/ONTARIO, CA to MERUELO MEDIA (NET NEWS 12/12) has finally been filed with the FCC, and the paperwork discloses that MERUELO is paying $15 million for the pair.  The stations were previously sold for $19.5 million to RBC COMMUNICATIONS in a deal that failed to close in OCTOBER.

In other filings with the FCC, FMC BROADCASTING, INC. is selling Oldies KLEE-A and Top 40 KOTM-F (97.7 TOM FM)/OTTUMWA, IA to O-TOWN COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $794,000 and a time brokerage agreement before closing.

WHIPLASH RADIO, LLC is selling WYCL-A/NILES, OH and WHTX-A/WARREN, OH to NELSON CINTRON's SAGITTARIUS COMMUNICATIONS, LLC for $150,000 and a time brokerage agreement before closing.  The buyer previously briefly programmed the stations under an LMA in late 2012 and early 2013.

WESTPORT RADIO PARTNERS, LLC is selling Adult Standards WPLB (B100.7)/PLATTSBURGH WEST, NY to RANDY MICHAELS' RADIOACTIVE, LLC for waiver of amounts due under a promissory note up to $100,000 and cancellation of the note.

BIBLE BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC. is selling FM translator W277AM/BIDDEFORD, ME, which has a construction permit to move to PORTLAND, to SAGA COMMUNICATIONS OF NEW ENGLAND, LLC in exchange for a tower lease for another translator in PORTLAND.  W277AM will rebroadcast SAGA's AC WBAE-A (AM 1490 THE BAY)/PORTLAND.

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, NV is selling FM translator K232BK/WINNEMUCCA, NV to RUBY RADIO CORP. for $2,000 cash and $10,000 in advertising.

COMMUNITY BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator K288GS/NEBRASKA CITY, NE to FLOOD BROADCASTING, INC. for $35,000.  The translator will rebroadcast Country KNCY-A/NEBRASKA CITY, which the buyer is in the process of purchasing from RIVERFRONT BROADCASTING LLC.

MAX T. NICHOLS is selling FM translator K260CD/BLACKFOOT, ID to BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY-IDAHO for $30,000.

EVANGELICAL BROADCASTING GROUP, INC. is selling the construction permit for a new noncommercial FM in AUGUSTA, WI to LBN, INC. for the lesser of reasonable expenses or $10,000.

FIRST FREE WILL BAPTIST CHURCH OF HEALDTON has closed on the sale of Southern Gospel KAZC/HEALDTON, OK to SOUTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING INC. for $1,000.

CLEAR CHANNEL's ALOHA STATION TRUST, LLC has closed on the sale of Talk WPHR-F (RUSH RADIO 94.7)/GIFFORD-VERO BEACH, FL to MITCHELL RUBENSTEIN and LAURIE SILVERS' R&S RADIO LLC for $1.85 million.

And 550 AM BROADCASTING CORP. has closed on the sale of Contemporary Christian WKFP/NAVARRE-PENSACOLA, FL to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $1,750,000.
