CITADEL/SALT LAKE CITY pulled the old switcharoo on MONDAY (10/3) as Top 40 KPQP went dark on the 101.9 frequency and they moved Triple A sister KENZ from the 107.5 frequency to 101.9. That same day, CITADEL launched a simulcast of Classic Country KKAT-A on the 107.5 frequency bringing the heritage call letters of KKAT back to the FM band. Concurrently, ED HILL has been tapped for the PD duties at KKAT and market veteran morning man COUNTRY JOE FLINT (formally on crosstown Country KSOP) has been tapped for morning duties.
