MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS has closed on the purchase of the SOUTH CENTRAL COMMUNICATIONS stations in EVANSVILLE, NASHVILLE, and KNOXVILLE for $72 million. The stations include Classic Rock WIMZ, AC WJXB (B97.5) and Active Rock WVRX (95.7 THE X)/KNOXVILLE, Adult Hits WCJK (96.3 JACK FM) and AC WJXA (MIX 92.9)/NASHVILLE, and Top 40 WSTO (HOT 96), Country WKFW (93.5 THE WOLF), AC WIKY and Classic Rock WABX/EVANSVILLE, plus the LMA for Adult Hits WEJK (107.1 JACK FM)/EVANSVILLE.
In other filings with the FCC, RADIO DALHART has closed on the sale of Regional Mexican KBEX (LA PODEROSA 96.1)/DALHART-AMARILLO, TX to MARIA CENICEROS' VIVA MEDIA, LLC for $450,000. The buyer already operated the station under an LMA.
And MARTIN DIRST has closed on the sale of KFZE/DANIEL, WY to WAGONWHEEL COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION for $50,000.
