Neil Patrick Harris Talks About Oscar Hosting On SiriusXM 'Town Hall'

NEIL PATRICK HARRIS talked about his trifecta this week for SIRIUSXM's "TOWN HALL" series, as he recounted the announcement he'll serve as OSCAR host for ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY editor MATT BEAN in an exclusive live chat. "SIRIUSXM'S TOWN HALL WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS" will air this FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17th at 1p (ET), on SIRIUSXM’s ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY RADIO.
HARRIS explained how he got the OSCAR gig, which began with a phone call exploring his interest last weekend, and resulted in an offer yesterday. "We wanted to slow-play it, but it broke very quickly," said HARRIS.
The former TONY and EMMY host is also celebrating the publication of his memoir, "Choose Your Own Autobiography" and his role in "Gone Girl," the top box office film in the country.
