Julio Flores Hosts, Submits Film To College Film Festival

LOS ANGELES radio veteran JULIO FLORES, currently newscaster for ENVISION’s Virtual NWZ, hosted the 1st Annual LOS ANGELES VALLEY COLLEGE FILM FESTIVAL/AWARD SHOW this past SATURDAY. FLORES also had a short film in the festival, which he directed and wrote called “Falsely Accused.”  The film received eight awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Screenplay, Best Sound and Best Score.

“I’m very honored and humbled that many industry professionals choose to honor my film," FLORES said. "I’ve always felt we can touch and move people by the things we said on-the-air through the medium of radio and want to translate that inspiration to TV and film. I’m looking forward to entering other festivals."
