WBWI Rebrands To WMBZ 'Buzz Country'

MAGNUM MEDIA Country WBWI/WEST BEND-MILWAUKEE, WI has rebranded to WMBZ (BUZZ COUNTRY).

“We nicknamed a station BUZZ several years ago then flipped formats, but hung on to buzzcountry.com with hopes of redeploying it someday," said MAGNUM MEDIA President DAVE MAGNUM. "Infusing stationality into this big signal that touches 20 counties was important to us, so we commissioned an artist in BOSTON to originate the BUZZ character. Another key was to create a clear distinction between the imaging of BUZZ COUNTRY 92.5 and {sister station WMKQ} CONTINUOUS COUNTRY Q92.1.”

Both WMBZ and WMKQ will be programmed by MIKE SOMMERS.
