WKZL's Murphy Punked By Paula Abdul

Yesterday, DICK Top 40 WKZL (107-5 KZL)/GREENSBORO's MURPHY IN THE MORNING was crabbing about the AMERICAN IDOL judges ignoring his request for an interview while they were in town auditioning people for the next season. He sent girls in bikinis to SIMON and RYAN SEACREST's hotel, and they both snuck out the back door for some reason. 

Well, if the bikini-clad gals didn't pay off, the whining did, because an unknown publicist from FOX finally called the request line to placate him. The voice sounded very familiar, and JACK MURPHY gradually came to realize that the mystery publicist was actually international superstar PAULA ABDUL.  Prankster ABDUL was crank calling JACK and asking him why he was complaining.  JACK knew it was her, so he *69ed her when they hung up and got her cell phone number.  After confirming it was her, PAULA agreed to be on the air live and was, by all accounts, a great sport.
