Sherman Kizart Wins Bid For 50,000 Watt Station In Cleveland, MS

KIZART MEDIA PARTNERS Founder/Managing Dir. SHERMAN K. KIZART has announced that his company has won the bid for a C-2 license for a 50,000 Watt radio station in his hometown of CLEVELAND, MS.
KIZART said, “This is a natural extension of my 25-year career in the industry. Radio station ownership has always represented the next level to me. It is a blessing to have this opportunity especially since CLEVELAND, MISSISSIPPI has been my hometown for four (4) generations of KIZARTS. It proves that you really can go home again.”
SHERMAN KIZART is on the FCC Federal Advisory Committee on Diversity in the Digital Age. Prior to founding KIZART MEDIA PARTNERS, INC, he worked for INTEREP as SVP/Dir. of Urban sales. KIZART MEDIA PARTNERS annually hosts the POWER OF URBAN RADIO FORUM in partnership with the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK OWNED BROADCASTERS in WASHINGTON, D.C.
He is also on the Board of Visitors at the HOWARD UNIVERSITY JOHN H. JOHNSON SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS. Mr. KIZART is a graduate of the UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI and the Dir./Development for KAPPA ALPHA PSI FRATERNITY, INC. His national media and sales consulting firm is located in CHICAGO.
