KEYS-A/Corpus Christi Still Stunting, New Logo Unveiled, New Format Coming Friday

MALKAN Sports KEYS-A (ESPN 1440)/CORPUS CHRISTI continues to stunt into its new format, which is widely assumed based on the stunt message loop to be News-Talk (NET NEWS 8/21), and the station has posted a new logo on its Facebook page.  The station will unveil its new format on FRIDAY (8/24).

The logo, in the form of a TEXAS flag with "1440 KEYS" emblazoned on it, is accompanied by a silhouette of the CORPUS CHRISTI skyline and the words "Stay tuned."  The station's online stream has been taken down, and the website remains showing ESPN programming, although the station itself is no longer airing the Sports format.

The ESPN RADIO affiliation is expected to land on crosstown TEJAS Spanish Hits KLHB (EXITOS 105.5), but as of MONDAY evening, the Spanish Hits format is still on 105.5 FM.
