WTOP/Washington's 'Click For A Cause' Is Back

HUBBARD News WTOP/WASHINGTON is once again holding an online contest for non-profit organizations, “Click for a Cause,” giving area charities a shot at three cash prizes of $12,000, $10,000, and $8,000, respectively.  The winners are chosen in online public voting; D.C.-area charities (either based in or with a chapter in the area, and devoting a majority of its funds to D.C.-area work) can register through midnight (ET) SEPTEMBER 6th at the station's WTOP.com website. Voting will take place SEPTEMBER 14th-25th with winners announced the week of SEPTEMBER 28th.

WTOP Dir./Marketing MARY KAY LEMAY said, “We are excited to bring back ‘Click for a Cause.’ This program allows us to showcase and provide exposure for a lot of really great organizations. The format makes it accessible to any charity that qualifies, and they have it in their power to drive voting so it’s really a fun, grassroots type of effort.”
