Broadcast software company RCS announced today that SINGAPORE's SPH RADIO will add AQUIRA as their traffic system. SPH Radio currently uses RCS products for music scheduling (GSELECTOR) and playout (ZETTA).
RCS designed AQUIRA as a full-business management software platform. With real-time access to sales and inventory data via AQUIRA2GO, its mobile component, the system's range of scheduling, billing and reporting options will now be utilized by SPH RADIO.
SPH Radio Head of Sales KRISTY KONG commented on the switch: “We previously used RCS' AIRWAVES, but AQUIRA takes traffic to another level. It’s easy to use. The power of AQUIRA2GO will allow my team to work on their phone and tablets from anywhere. Account Executives will be able to access data remotely to build a proposal with real-time access to the station inventory and then present the contract to the advertiser. This solution will keep the team completely connected to the managers and traffic team back at the station.”
RCS Pres./CEO PHILIPPE GENERALI added about the upgrade: “SPH RADIO has been a long-time customer and in fact KISS92 was our first client using the powerful ZETTA/GSELECTOR combination. In combination with those two, AQUIRA will give SPH RADIO greater flexibility and a firm foundation to move forward in radio inventory management.”
SPH RADIO manages and operates three radio stations, including KISS92, SINGAPORE's #1 ENGLISH language radio station in marketshare.
