As part of its LABOR DAY weekend festivities, SETON HALL UNIVERSITY Rock WSOU (89.5 FM PIRATE RADIO)/SOUTH ORANGE, NJ, will be playing deep and lost tracks from the metal, punk and hardcore bands that make up the core of the station’s loud rock format. Songs to be aired include early METALLICA, SLIPKNOT rarities, and influential tracks by the DEAD KENNEDYS.
“This will be a great weekend for our listeners to rediscover a song they haven’t heard in a while or never knew existed,” said WSOU PD STEVE VARSANYI. “Doing research for this LABOR DAY weekend special has been really enlightening for me and I know that fans of our music will learn a lot as they listen along with us.”
This FRIDAY, SATURDAY and LABOR DAY, WSOU will also be giving listeners a chances to win two tickets to THE FOOD TRUCK AND ROCK CARNIVAL in CLARK, NJ and the NY RENAISSANCE FAIRE in TUXEDO, NY.
