PEARL RECORDS/RCA NASHVILLE artist GARTH BROOKS is rumored to be celebrating the 25th anniversary of his mega-hit "Friends In Low Places" with a special re-cut of the signature song. USA TODAY has confirmed that BROOKS recently slipped on down to the studio with GEORGE STRAIT, KEITH URBAN, JASON ALDEAN, and FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE to record the new version.
Will the song be re-released for its silver anniversary? Does this signal additional re-cuts on albums or tracks in celebration of BROOKS' milestone year? Will this new studio version include the mysterious "third verse" only heard in concert? Let’s all meet down at THE OASIS to discuss.
