It's Official: Dan LeBatard Show (With Stugotz) Moves To 10a-1p (ET) On ESPN Radio

It's now official that THE DAN LEBATARD SHOW will be moving from afternoons to 10a-1p (ET), starting TUESDAY (9/8).  The move fills the slot left open in ESPN RADIO's national lineup when COLIN COWHERD left the network for FOX SPORTS RADIO.  LEBATARD, also a MIAMI HERALD columnist, and sidekick JON "STUGOTZ" WEINER will also continue to do a local hour for his home station, ENTERCOM Sports WAXY-A (AM 790 THE TICKET)/MIAMI, now 9-10a (ET).  The show will also continue to be simulcast on FUSION television, but now on tape delay at 1p (ET); ESPNU will offer a live TV simulcast.

"We continue to be flattered and flabbergasted by the amount of unrelenting support ESPN gives our absurd little circus,” said LE BATARD, who also co-hosts ESPN television's "HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE" with BOMANI JONES and LEBATARD's father GONZALO "PAPI" LEBATARD.  “We can't believe that even more of ‘Sports AMERICA’ will now be able to laugh, think and call us fat. We look forward to making fun of the powerful, the cliché and ourselves. We are going to enjoy ourselves daily in a way that we hope people find contagious and try not to notice that this time slot gives us more markets than ever in which we can be wrong. They will not be disappointed with the time change and a new audience will now have the opportunity to experience this unique blend of make-you-think commentary and humor.”

In addition, STUGOTZ will co-host the new "FANTASY FOCUS" show on ESPN RADIO with DAVE ROTHENBERG and ERIC KARABELL on SUNDAYS at 9a (ET), beginning SEPTEMBER 6th.

The move gains LEBATARD a live clearance on ESPN Sports KSPN-A (ESPN LA 710AM)/LOS ANGELES 7-10a (PT) weekdays; he had been heard live on ESPN RADIO's secondary affiliate in that market, LOS ANGELES ANGELS Sports KLAA-A (AM830).
