CENTENINIAL BROADCASTING News-Talk WFVA-A and AC WBQB (B101.5)/FREDERICKSBURG, VA helped make a local girl's dying wish come true, working with the FAIRY GODMOTHER PROJECT to fly her and her family to see the ROCKY MOUNTAINS.
WFVA's "TOWN TALK" show hosted 18-year-old CEILI, who has decided to stop painful treatments for AML leukemia and cannot fly on a commercial plane, and the FAIRY GODMOTHER PROJECT's ANDI MCCONNELL on TUESDAY's edition, followed by a FACEBOOK post at B101.5's page, and listeners responded, donating money for fuel, obtaining lodging and food for the family in COLORADO, and, finally, finding a private plane to make the trip a reality.
