East Carolina's 'Tom The Jazzman' Dies In Crash

Condolences to family and friends of CRAVEN COMMUNITY COLLEGE noncommercial PUBLIC RADIO EAST (WTEB-WZNB/NEW BERN, NC-WBJD/ATLANTIC BEACH, NC-WKNS/KINSTON, NC-/W201AO-GREENVILLE, NC) weekly jazz show host "TOM THE JAZZMAN" MALLISON, who died SUNDAY (9/7) in a car crash in CRAVEN COUNTY, NC.

MALLISON hosted "AN EVENING WITH TOM THE JAZZMAN"  since WTEB's sign-on in 1984 and was also a contributing writer for JAZZWEEK.  He was awarded NORTH CAROLINA's Order of the Long Leaf Pine by Gov. JIM MARTIN in 1992.
