CBS' Play.It Debuts More Podcasts

New Shows

CBS RADIO and CBS LOCAL DIGITAL MEDIA's PLAY.IT podcast network unveiled several new shows at THURSDAY's Podcast Upfront in NEW YORK.

Among the new shows are COSMOPOLITAN.COM's ELISA BENSON hosting "COSMO HAPPY HOUR"; comedian TOM GREEN's weekly "TOM GREEN RADIO SHOW"; "THE BROUHAHA WITH ANA MARIE COX," political talk with the popular former WONKETTE and SUCK.COM commentator and AIR AMERICA RADIO host; "RAP RADAR," based on the Hip Hop website; "THE JASON FITZ SHOW," a football podcast; GARY ARNDT's "THE GLOBAL TRAVEL CONSPIRACY"; and THE WRAP's SHARON WAXMAN with "THE GRILL," looking at entertainment and media topics.

“Consumers expect to get the content they want, when they want it across multiple platforms and this power of choice is resulting in more demand and more consumption of audio content than ever before,” said CBS LOCAL DIGITAL MEDIA President EZRA KUCHARZ. “Our goal with PLAY.IT is to meet this growing demand and bring a diverse stable of high quality audio content to wherever consumers are.”
