The 16th Annual Eric & Kathy Radiothon On WTMX/Chicago Raises Over $1.3 Million

HUBBARD Hot AC WTMX (101.9 THE MIX)/CHICAGO raised $1,316,404 for the ANN & ROBERT H. LURIE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF CHICAGO during its 16th Annual ERIC & KATHY Radiothon. With a little help from celebrities such as NICKLAS HJALMARSSON (CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS) the amount generated at ERIC & KATHY’s Radiothon raised the grand total to over $27 million dollars for LURIE CHILDREN’S since its inception in 2000.

From 6a until 8p on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th, ERIC & KATHY were live from the Crown Sky Garden on the 11th floor of LURIE CHILDREN’s, airing the heartfelt stories of heroic children battling critical, or even fatal conditions in hopes of helping other children in need. The money raised at ERIC & KATHY’s Radiothon will be used locally for pediatric research, patient care, education and advocacy.
