Three more members of the House of Representatives have been added as co-sponsors of the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The resolution now has 211 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 20 in the Senate; the threshold for a majority in the House of Representatives is 218.
Adding their support for the Local Radio Freedom Act in the House are Reps. ANDY BARR (R-KY), MADELEINE BORDALLO (D-GUAM (delegate)) AND SUSAN BROOKS (R-IN).
