CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A-F/NEW YORK morning co-host BOOMER ESIASON's second annual BOOMER ESIASON FOUNDATION Bike to Breathe event is scheduled for this month with a 500-mile bike ride ending at a live broadcast on SEPTEMBER 24th.
ESIASON and CRAIG CARTON will be broadcasting their "BOOMER AND CARTON" WFAN show live at the finish line for "JERRY and EM's CF Adventure," a 500-mile ride by Cystic Fibrosis patient and double-lung transplant recipient JERRY CAHILL and CF patient and ROCK CF FOUNDATION founder EMILY SCHALLER beginning in BAR HARBOR, ME TODAY (9/15) and ending at NEW YORK--PRESBYTERIAN/COLUMBIA hospital. The event is raising funds to help those with Cystic Fibrosis and encouraging CF patients to be active and exercise.
“We are so proud of JERRY and EM for embarking on another incredible journey to raise awareness for BEF and CF. As a CF Dad, I love seeing people like these two fight their disease and inspire an entire community,” said ESIASON.
“The BOOMER ESIASON FOUNDATION has been instrumental in supporting doctors, researchers and patients in the fight against CF,” said THE PRICE FAMILY CENTER FOR COMPREHENSIVE CHEST CARE's Dr. JOSHUA SONETT. “We’re thrilled to host the foundation as we all cheer on JERRY and EM in the final leg of their journey.”
