WOGL Radiothon Raises Money For Children's Hospital

CBS RADIO Classic Hits WOGL (97.1)/PHILADELPHIA's 14th annual LOVES OUR KIDS RADIOTHON raised $688,856  for THE CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK at THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA, Over the past 14 years, the station has raised $7,590,936.33 for CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.

 In addition to the two day RADIOTHON, donations were collected during special weekend programming with WOGL DJs HARVEY HOLIDAY and BOB PANTANO.  On SATURDAY night during the 98.1 WOGL DANCE PARTY at ADELPHIA RESTAURANT AND NIGHT CLUB, PANTANO also collected donations toward the RADIOTHON.  Between listener donations and a generous match by PANTANO, the total for PANTANO'S PALS was $33,471.  In three hours on HOLIDAY’s STREET CORNER SUNDAY program, HOLIDAY'S HEROS came together to pledge over $30,025 towards the grand total.  To date, HOLIDAYS HEROES has raised $150,936 for CHOP.

The WOGL LOVES OUR KIDS RADIOTHON aired THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th and FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th live from the RYAN SEACREST FOUNDATION’s SEACREST STUDIOS located at THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA, where THE BREAKFAST CLUB's VALERIE KNIGHT and FRANK LEWIS presented the check for $688,856 to the HOSPITAL.
