Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor Top RIAA August Gold And Platinum Certifications

TAYLOR SWIFT's 2008 album "Fearless" and MEGHAN TRAINOR's "All About That Bass" topped RIAA's AUGUST list of Gold and Platinum honors, among the 64 digital single awards and six album awards certified during the month.
SWIFT's "Fearless" received 7x Platinum certification, representing seven million shipped, while DRAKE's "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" and "The Very Best of DARYL HALL & JOHN OATES," first released in JANUARY, 2001, were simultaneously certified both Gold and Platinum.
MEGHAN TRAINOR's "All About That Bass" topped the Multi-Platinum sngles tally by going 9x Platinum, followed by IDINA MENZEL's "Frozen" hit, "Let It Go" (8x Platinum), TAYLOR SWIFT's "Blank Space" (7x Platinum), OWL CITY's "Fireflies" (7x Platinum) and AVICII's "Wake Me Up" (6x Platinum).
