Gunman Arrested After Shooting His Way Into WBOK/New Orleans Building

A gunman shot his way into the building housing BAKEWELL MEDIA News-Talk WBOK-A/NEW ORLEANS on FRIDAY night (9/17), reports FOX affiliate WVUE-TV.

The gunman, according to board operator KENDALL "JAZZ" WILLIAMS, said that he had to shoot the glass to get into the station because he was "running from somebody outside."  Police and station management showed up to investigate, but after all but one officer left the scene, Director of Promotions and Community Outreach JANAE PIERRE and the others at the building spotted bloody footprints and found the suspect, RANCE DUNBAR, in the building.

After DUNBAR's arrest on criminal trespass charges, WILLIAMS and PIERRE voiced anger over what they termed shoddy police work, calling it "very negligent and incompetent" and saying that the station is installing new security.
