LEIGHTON BROADCASTING Country KZPK (WILD COUNTRY 99)/ST. CLOUD, MN today confirmed what ALL ACCESS reported two days ago (NET NEWS 9/23) -- that CHERRY CREEK Country KBLL/HELENA, MT morning co-host KATIE TOUPAL will join ‘ZPK morning man COLLIN TAYLOR as co-host effective MONDAY, OCTOBER 5th.

LEIGHTON/ST. CLOUD OM JJ HOLIDAY tells ALL ACCESS, “KATIE is a MINNESOTA girl, so this is a welcome homecoming for her.” The move completes a morning transition that started last month, when TAYLOR succeeded 13-year station vets MATT SENNE and AMY FOXX, who moved to LEIGHTON’s recently-acquired WINONA, MN cluster for GM and on-air duties, respectively (NET NEWS 8/21).
