RCA RECORDS execs and BLEACHERS' JACK ANTONOFF celebrated the Gold-certified success of the band's single, "I Wanna Get Better," from the album "Strange Desire" with a good, old-school plaque presentation photo.
Label Pres./COO TOM CORSON, Chairman/CEO PETER EDGE, EVP JOHN FLECKENSTEIN, GM/EVP Promotion JOE RICCITELLI, SVP/Rock Radio DENNIS BLAIR, VP/Marketing NICK PIROVANO, SVP/A&R DAVID WOLTER, manager TYLER CHILDS and ANTONOFF were all on hand for the presentation. Check it out here.
"I Wanna Get Better" topped the Alternative chart, with 30 million U.S. streams and 60 million overall for the "Strange Desire" album.
ANTONOFF and the band just released "Terrible Thrills Vol. 2," a remake of "Strange Desire" with female vocalists for free, featuring SARA BAREILLES, CHARLI XCX, CARLY RAE JEPSEN, TINASHE, LUCIUS, ELLE KING, SIA, SUSANNA HOFFS and NATALIE MAINES, among others.
This past year, ANTONOFF collaborated with TAYLOR SWIFT, co-writing and producing her chart topping hit “Out of the Woods” along with two other tracks from her #1 album “1989." He also received a 2014 GOLDEN GLOBE nomination for his collaboration with SWIFT on her hit song "Sweeter Than Fiction."
