Golf Instructor Michael Breed Hosting New SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio Show

GOLF CHANNEL's MICHAEL BREED, one of the game's foremost instructors, has joined the roster of hosts on the SIRIUSXM PGA TOUR RADIO channel, with a new show airing twice weekly.

"A New Breed of Golf" will debut OCTOBER 14th and air live every WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY morning from 10a to 11a (ET) on SIRIUSXM PGA TOUR RADIO. The channel is available to subscribers nationwide on satellite radios (SIRIUS channel 208, XM channel 92), on the SIRIUSXM app and at SiriusXM.com.  

BREED will take calls from golfers around the country, share his crucial tips for better play at all levels of the game, and discuss the latest golf news, tournaments, players and more.

BREED has been a PGA pro for more than two decades and in 2012 received the highest honor of his career when he was chosen as the PGA’s NATIONAL TEACHER OF THE YEAR. He has been recognized as one of the Top Instructors in AMERICA by both GOLF MAGAZINE and GOLF DIGEST  He is presently ranked #13 on GOLF DIGEST’s Top 50 list, and #1 in the state of NEW YORK. He has worked with over 30 PGA TOUR, LPGA TOUR, NATIONWIDE TOUR and SENIOR TOUR players.

He also oversees the newly opened MICHAEL BREED GOLF ACADEMY at TRUMP GOLF LINKS at FERRY POINT in NEW YORK. Formerly, he was the head professional at SUNNINGDALE COUNTRY CLUB and served as assistant pro at DEEPDALE GOLF CLUB and AUGUSTA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB.

BREED hosts GOLF CHANNEL's "The Golf Fix" and is part of its coverage of the NATIONWIDE TOUR and PGA TOUR, serving as an on-course commentator. He also serves as the analyst for PGA.com in its coverage of the PGA CHAMPIONSHIP, PGA PROFESSIONAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, and THE RYDER CUP.
