MTV has moved swiftly to resolve the departure of STEPHEN FRIEDMAN (NET NEWS 9/30) by naming SEAN ATKINS President. Previously GM and EVP/Digital Media and Strategy at DISCOVERY COMMUNICATIONS, ATKINS will oversee all creative and business operations for the youth entertainment brand and its sister networks, MTV2 and mtvU.
