LIBERAL MUSIC AND EDUCATION FOUNDATION Top 40/Country KTWI (MIX 94.3)/LIBERAL, KS, along with engineer TIM INGRAM, was the winner of the first annual BOOMAMERICAN LPFM AUDIO PROCESSING CONTEST as "Best-Sounding Station" of the year.
The decision was voted on by judges JERRY CLIFTON, TONY GRAY, LEIF CLAESSON, MIKE ERICKSON, PAUL HOLLINGS, JESSE GRAFFAM and STEPHEN BISHOP. The station will receive a DBX286S from BSW (BROADCAST SUPPLY WORLDWIDE) a licensed copy of RADUGA UNIVERSAL RADIO AUTOMATION from SPRYNET, two name, city or station shouts from TONY GRIFFIN PRODUCTIONS, a page of voiceovers from JEFF LAURENCE and DIANE MERRITT.
"Every station who participated is a much better-sounding station today because of our LFPM-supporting sponsors and judges and we are grateful," said event coordinator and LPFM-AG Executive Director DAVE SOLOMON. "This will be even bigger next year."
