Bayley Brown Joins KHUM/Humboldt, CA

New Gal In Town

LOST COAST COMMUNICATIONS Freeform Triple A, KHUM/HUMBOLDT, CA is pleased to add BAYLEY BROWN as the New Media Director and host of the midday shift. She fills the void left by longtime KHUM PD/MD/midday host MIKE DRONKERS exit.

“We did an exhaustive nationwide search looking for the right person for this job,” said CLIFF BERKOWITZ, station founder and VP/Programing. “KHUM is a unique station and it needed a unique person to fill the shift. BAYLEY is a great communicator with good strong and compatible music tastes, very important on a freeform station. She brings strong new media skills to us, something we’ve desperately needed, but most importantly, she is a really good person.”

“I am honestly privileged to bring my new media and on-air skills to KHUM,” BROWN added.  “The entire staff is truly committed to superserving not just the HUMBOLDT COUNTY community, but our online audience as well. KHUM is an extraordinary station that holds many of my core values. I’m already looking at ways to increase our online presence.”  

Previously, BROWN was recently the Interactive Specialist and midday personality for LM COMMUNICATIONS’ WKLC-FM/CHARLESTON, WV. She also put in nine years at BOWERS BROADCASTING’s WCLG/MORGANTOWN, WV adding the Programming Assistant/evening personality title in 2011.
