NEW GENERATION RADIO's "Smash Hits" continues to grow as KWXM/RUSTON, LA becomes "THE NEW SMASH HITS 102.3."

Programming consultant JASON KIDD said the station covers "all of NORTHERN LOUISIANA! KWXM held a live ribbon cutting ceremony at their new transmitter site in the middle of the woods and had a shuttle bus taking people to the ceremony. Over 50 area dignitaries from SHREVEPORT, ATHENS, RUSTON and MONROE attended -- many taking the microphone to wish them well."
