Entercom Appoints Kay Feeney-Caito As Indiana Dir./Marketing & Promotions

ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS has tapped KAY FEENEY-CAITO as its INDIANA Dir./Marketing & Promotions, overseeing Top 40 WZPL, AC WNTR (107.9 THE MIX) and Sports WXNT-A (CBS SPORTS 1430). The move marks a radio homecoming for FEENEY-CAITO, who previously served as Promotions Director of WZPL from 1990-1993.

In a staff memo, OM JR AMMONS said, "Over the past 25 years or so, KAY has been an award-winning Promotions and/or Marketing Director for WFBQ, WFMS, WZPL and the RADIO ONE stations. For the past seven years she has run her own Public Relations firm and has deep-rooted relationships with practically every media outlet in INDIANAPOLIS. KAY was the brains behind sending the ZPL morning show to the Persian Gulf to broadcast live during the first Gulf War -- she was also responsible for the creation of the WFMS Country Music Expo."

AMMONS added, "While talking to people that have worked with KAY in the past, the words and phrases that came up most often were, 'passionate,' 'energetic,' 'positive,' 'problem solver,' 'detailed,' 'savvy' and 'unmatched work ethic.'
