Hondo Robertson Set To Host KPLX/Dallas 'The Front Porch Show'

CUMULUS Country KPLX (THE WOLF)/DALLAS has named market radio vet GREG “HONDO” ROBERTSON to host the station’s long-running “FRONT PORCH SHOW” each SUNDAY evening. Beginning SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18th, he succeeds BILL “BOWEN” PHILLIPS, who will now focus on his regular weekday evening show on KPLX.

A staple of “THE WOLF” programming schedule since the station’s late-'90s launch, “THE FRONT PORCH” is a two-hour (6p-8p CT) show featuring TEXAS Country, Red Dirt, and Americana titles, combined with interviews of TEXAS Country stars, updates on live music, album releases, and more. HONDO has most recently been serving as Dir./Public Affairs for CUMULUS/DALLAS and doubling as host of “IMPACT TEXAS,” heard on all six stations in the cluster.
