ALL ACCESS has learned that former CBS RADIO Country KFRG/RIVERSIDE-SAN BERNARDINO morning personality TOMMY “TOMMY C” CARRERA will soon be announced as PD for nearby ALPHA MEDIA Country KDES (98.5 THE BULL)/PALM SPRINGS. The station  flipped to Country last month (NET NEWS 9/10), branded as “A contemporary Country station playing new Country music” and overseen by cluster OM DAX DAVIS.

CARRERA left KFRG in SEPTEMBER of 2014 after teaming up with SCOTT WARD for nine years (NET NEWS 9/25/2014). CARRERA's Country radio resume includes on-air and programming positions with KMLE and KNIX/PHOENIX, KBQI/ALBUQUERQUE, KKAT/SALT LAKE CITY and KZLA/LOS ANGELES. Send congrats here.
