ENTERCOM Hot AC KALC (ALICE 105.9)/DENVER held its “Menage a' Trois” acoustic event, which puts three artists on stage with each other as they take turns performing acoustically and intimately throughout the night for 200+ fans. This latest threesome were ROB THOMAS, MICHAEL FRANTI and rising star MARC SCIBILIA.
CAPITOL MUSIC GROUP's TONY BRACY checked in with ALL ACCESS for a recap of the evening, "The night started with ROB THOMAS and MICHAEL FRANTI throwing down their mega-hits "Push," "Sound of Sunshine" and MARC's "Better Man." MARC followed up with "Wide Open Arms" where FRANTI took it upon himself to sing background vocals.
ROB gave so much praise to SCIBILIA after this song calling him a rising star and endorsed MARC as a true musician. "Jericho," the slowest ballad of the night, brought the crowd to their feet for a rousing standing ovation. "You know you’re having a pretty damn good night when ROB THOMAS and MICHAEL FRANTI sing backup for you," SCIBILIA said.
Check out the performance here -- as well as their impromptu group encore performance of BOB MARLEY's "Three Little Birds."
