KTBZ Changes Name To "KBEE - Killer B 94.5, The Buzz"

CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative KTBZ (94.5 THE BUZZ)/HOUSTON has changed its name to "KBEE – KILLER B 94.5, THE BUZZ" to celebrate the amazing season of the National League Division Series Champion HOUSTON ASTROS and its Killer B's (BAGWELL, BACKE, BERKMAN BRUNTLETT, BURKE, and BIGGIO). The ASTROS have advanced to the National League Championship Series following SUNDAY's (10/9) 18-inning marathon 7-6 victory over the ATLANTA BRAVES.

THE BUZZ will sport a new logo and use a new station imaging and identification in honor of the ASTROS and the Killer B’s. KTBZ continues to be HOUSTON’s NEW ROCK ALTERNATIVE and vows to keep the new slogan, "KBEE – KILLER B 94.5, THE BUZZ" throughout the ASTROS playoff run.
