CORY WELLS, lead singer of THREE DOG NIGHT, who had numerous hits in the 70s, such as "Mama Told Me (Not To Come)" and "Joy To The World," has died aged 74.
The band posted on its FACEBOOK page, “It is with deep sadness and disbelief that I must report the passing of CORY WELLS, my beloved band mate for over 45 years,” wrote DANNY HUTTON. “Cory was an incredible singer -- a great performer, he could sing anything.”
WELLS was one of three lead singers of THREE DOG NIGHT. He died unexpectedly YESTERDAY (10/21) in DUNKIRK, NY.
