WKRQ/Cincinnati MD/Afternoons Brian Douglas Pictures A New Career

HUBBARD BROADCASTING Hot AC WKRQ (Q102)/CINCINNATI MD/afternoons BRIAN DOUGLAS is resigning from those duties for a new career in movie stills photography. DOUGLAS has been with Q102 for 28 years and works his final full-time afternoon show, this coming FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23rd.

“The past 28 years have been the absolute best years of my life," DOUGLAS  said. "I have been blessed beyond belief to work at Q102 in my hometown of CINCINNATI for all these years.”

“It’s tough for us, on one hand we’re very sad, and on the other we’re very happy that BRIAN will enjoy putting to work his other creative abilities.” Q102 PD PATTI MARSHALL said. “He is truly a gifted photographer and will do incredibly well following his new passion.”

“For eight years BRIAN and I have lifted each other up, laughed until we cried and lived our lives on the air. I will never be able to thank him enough for the warmth he provided me each day.” said his afternoon co-host LAURA POWELL.

“BRIAN has been such an integral part of the station for so long," VP/Market Manager MIKE FREDRICK said. "For a generation of listeners, BRIAN is Q102. I’d say BRIAN’s become Q102 royalty helping make Q102 the station it is today.”

DOUGLAS will continue to work for the station in part-time capacity, as his new photography career allows.
