Women Win WRRM/Cincinnati's 'Battle Of The Sexes' - Bob And Marianne Apologize To Adele

On FRIDAY (10/23), CUMULUS AC WRRM (WARM 98)/CINCINNATI's BOB AND MARIANNE morning show announced that the women had been victorious in SEASON 5 of their "BATTLE OF THE SEXES" challenge with the men losing the best of a 50-game series. As a condition of the challenge, a plane towed a banner over the city that read, "WOMEN ARE SUPERIOR" as hundreds of listeners called into the show with the banner’s minute-by-minute location. 

In all the excitement, BOB AND MARIANNE didn't get a chance to debut ADELE's new song "Hello" which was released the same day and have apologized to both their fans and ADELE.  

According to a statement on their website, "Hey, WARM 98 thinks ADELE is swell. So, we want to apologize to her for not delaying the release our video, at least a day, so that she could get a little exposure for what we think is a really good song (we play it).  However, we’re proud that both videos have combined worldwide views of over 67 million!!"
