The Empire State Building And WCBS-F/New York Put On A Light Show

Last week (NET NEWS 10/28), ALL ACCESS told you that CBS RADIO Classic Hits WCBS-F/NEW YORK would join the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING and the AUDIO ENGINEERING SOCIETY to celebrate a marvel of Broadcasting -- the 50th Anniversary of the Master FM Antenna atop the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING in NEW YORK CITY.

At exactly 7p on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29th, the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING featured a light show designed by lighting designer MARC BRICKMAN to the song “FM” by STEELY DAN which will be simulcast on CBS-FM 101.1.

It is only fitting we mark the occasion by playing STEELY DAN’s 'FM' in sync with a spectacular light show for all of MANHATTAN to see.”
