KOA/Denver Launches FM Translator Simulcast

As previously tipped (NET NEWS 10/23), iHEARTMEDIA has launched an FM simulcast of News-Talk KOA-A/DENVER on K231BQ/GOLDEN, CO, which it is acquiring from MARCO BROADCASTING CORPORATION for $950,000.  The translator is being fed by the HD3 channel of Triple A KBCO.

MARCO had been feeding the programming of its pot-themed KBUD-A (SMOKIN' 94.1)/DENVER on the translator.

“We’re excited to extend KOA NEWSRADIO’s reach to 94.1 FM,” said Market President PAT CONNOR. “This enhancement will allow KOA NEWSRADIO to reach more people and better serve our listeners, partners and clients.”
