CAPITOL NASHVILLE artist DIERKS BENTLEY hosted his "10TH ANNUAL MILES & MUSIC FOR KIDS" YESTERDAY (11/1) in NASHVILLE. The celebrity motorcycle ride and concert featured performances by FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, THOMAS RHETT, COLE SWINDELL, THE CADILLAC THREE, CANAAN SMITH, and BROOKE EDEN (NET NEWS 8/17). Proceeds from the event will benefit MONROE CARELL JR. CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AT VANDERBILT.
Last year's ride brought in over $335,000 (NET NEWS 9/29/2014), and BENTLEY was on a mission to top that number for his tenth anniversary. According to BENTLEY's website, he nearly doubled last year's numbers, bringing in a record-breaking $636,479. "You always want to make each year different and raise more money, especially with it being the 10th anniversary," said BENTLEY via his website. "We had a killer lineup and moved over to the new ASCEND AMPHITHEATER, but I was completely shocked to see that first number when they flipped over the check -- a six! Really big thanks to all the fans and friends who helped make it such a huge night."
