Bob Frank Distribution Acquires Blix Street, Tesla Electric Company Recordings

BOB FRANK DISTRIBUTION (BDF) has partnered with BLIX STREET -- home of the late EVA CASSIDY -- and TESLA ELECTRIC COMPANY RECORFDINGS. BFD is distributed by SONY MUSIC's RED.

BFD's JIM CUOMO, former head of EONE MUSIC and RYKO DISTRIBUTION, expects five to 10 more labels to join BFD over the next few months, alongside the likes of MAGNA CARTA RECORDS.

BLIX STREET and sister label GIFTHORSE RECORDS feature works from CASSIDY (including the platinum-certified "Songbird"), MARY BLACK and GRACE GRIFFITH. The label's first new release via BFD/RED is the long-anticipated CASSIDY album, "Nightbird," which will be released in DECEMBER.

The artist-owned TESLA ELECTRIC COMPANY RECORDINGS label has a new release by the multi-million selling rockers planned for 2016, to mark the band's 30th anniversary. The new arrangement comes on the heels of the first leg of TESLA's national tour with DEF LEPPARD and STYX, which resumes in FEBRUARY 2016.
