WTMJ/Milwaukee Covers Republican Debate

John Mercure Leads Discussion

SCRIPPS News-Talk WTMJ-A/MILWAUKEE covered the Republican Presidential debate held in THE BREW CITY on-air and on-line, and held a listener event at the station's historic Radio City Studios.

Midday Host/Editor in Chief of RIGHTWISCONSIN.COM CHARLIE SYKES, interviewed MARCO RUBIO and TED CRUZ on-air.  WISCONSIN's Afternoon News Host JOHN MERCURE anchored special debate coverage including on site reporting and an in-studio appearance from GOP Chairman REINCE PRIEBUS.  MERCURE also hosted a listener forum before, during and after the debate at the station.

After the debate, WTMJ Weekend Host and RIGHTWISCONSIN.COM Managing Editor COLLIN ROTH, hosted a 2-hour on-air program with listeners' reaction to the debate and he provided analysis with a panel of experts.  The WTMJ Voter Forum will be continued for future GOP and Democratic Debates leading up to the 2016 Election.
